Brock Transportation operates an internal operational SMS messaging program to communicate time-sensitive freight and logistics information to employees and contracted carriers/drivers.
Method 1 Employees — HR Onboarding
Internal employees provide their mobile phone number during the HR onboarding process and sign an employment agreement that contains an explicit written consent clause authorizing Brock Transportation to send them operational SMS messages as described above.
Method 2 Carriers & Drivers — Carrier Onboarding Packet
Contracted carriers and drivers provide their mobile number on the carrier onboarding packet and sign a carrier agreement that includes a dedicated SMS consent clause. The clause specifically authorizes Brock Transportation to send text messages including fuel/lumper payment codes, load status updates, tracking requests, and pickup/delivery appointment alerts.
Message frequency varies based on active load and operational activity. Recipients with no active loads may receive no messages. Recipients managing multiple active loads may receive several messages per day.
Recipients may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message from Brock Transportation. Upon opt-out, no further messages will be sent.
